Glue's New Music Friday Round Up #2
It's that time again, as the majority of us start winding down for the week and send off those final emails before relaxing for the weekend.
We're here to round off your work day with our 5 favourite new releases from this week.
Along with a load of new singles, this week has seen the release of 3 major artist albums; Anne-Marie with "Unhealthy", Travis Scotts eagerly anticipated "UTOPIA" & Post Malone with "AUSTIN".
Our first track on this weeks list is from a two-piece band we've only just discovered with this release, Galdive and their song "Stay". We don't know a whole lot about these two apart from the fact they are based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and their names are Osvaldorio and Wiana. Assuming Wiana as the main vocalist who's voice is just sublime and production by Osvaldorio, we really love the overall chilled vibe and feel of the song.
Next up, Travis. We've not had a full play through the album yet, but this one stood out to us with its hidden features. Travis Scott has somehow managed to never name his album features on songs, which we guess is to add some magic and mystery. This song in particular features the vocals of both Beyonce and James Blake. All in all making this quite a special and unexpected collaboration, with some amazing runs from the queen of pop, incredible production from Blake and Mike Dean, topped off with Travis Scotts trademark sound.

Repping Chicago, Mick Jenkins comes in at number 3 with Guapanese, dripping in 90s Hip-Hop energy. He bounces lyrics over the dreamlike instrumental, produced by Stoic. The lazy swung drums are the perfect accompaniment to that Friday feeling.
We've not heard a whole lot from the powerhouse duo that is Maribou State for a little while. In all honesty, their 2 last albums, "Portraits" (2015) & "Kingdoms In Colour" have kept us going and haven't really gotten old. This new single gives us hope that were close to a 4th full-length album and teases some of the flavours we might expect from their next project.
Following on from the last track, as we delve towards the four-four rhythms, we take you to a preview of the night that may unfold as we go into this latin house track by Adam Port & Theus Mago. Adam Port, one of the founding members of the renowned Keinemusik Label, releases this track on the heavyweight UK dance label, Defected.
