CSV Containment produces, following GMP requirements and clients’ specific needs, continuous liners and flexible isolators, to confine all the exposed operations or temporarily modify the inner atmosphere (cleaner area, low humidity, or inert needs).

Similar to plastic bubbles with gloves, filters, zippered doors, wires, pass-through hoses,?and any required tools, Glove Boxes are usually ad hoc products. They are made of basic pharma low-density polyethylene or Polyurethene films directly supplied by CSV Containment. Still, we can also transform material provided by third parties as indicated by the end customers. All of this to speed up the production of the items required, without compromising the quality assessment of the?material?already validated?by our customers.

Given that our work can be considered as a form of?industrial tailoring, we have?the habit of involving our final customers in the definition of the shape which they may like and?need, to ease the use of the devices, make their installation simple and their decontamination, removal or replacement quicker.

DIT? Flexible Isolators’ technology.

The award-winning and proven DIT? technology now boasts many applications on rigid and flexible isolators, receiving more and more positive feedback from industry players. The EPDM or Silicone irises can be replaced over time, as can the flexible part of the isolator, which is more prone to wear.

The DIT? flexible isolators have an agile configuration that, thanks to the telescopic structure and compass legs, allows confinement even in situations where space is at a premium. Finally, the combination with a universal telescopic lifter completes an all-made CSV Containment supply chain.

Telescopic Glove Bag.

Listening to manufacturing operators, at CSV Containment, we thought of a telescopic glove bag as a response to a concrete need. We were asked to avoid the uncomfortable and very low coupling of drums usually required by the placement, coupling, and separation of drums from the interface installed at the bottom of a flexible dispensing isolator.

The telescopic glove bag is also very useful and comfortable for performing, crimping, and cutting operations on the liner or drum liner; the ergonomic condition will positively affect the containment performances since, as is well known, they are often jeopardized by an uncomfortable operator condition. Thanks to the lifting configuration, separating the drum liner will be easier and more effective.

Special versions of telescopic glove bags are capable of reaching higher charging points, like small preparation tanks, reactors, sievers, mills, etc.; in this case, the skid will be used for direct transfer/charging of powder immediately after being positioned over the charging point and eventually embedded into the flexible isolation chamber.

Of course, this configuration could be very useful when continuous liner discharging is foreseen on a flexible isolator bottom for the same reasons and obtaining the same advantages explained for the drum sleeve coupling via BIBO Procedures.
