A Glory Book Chronicle: The Tale of the Little Old Man and Eight Nasty Wizards

Just noticed the first book review at Amazon for my children's book - A Glory Book Chronicle: The Tale of the Little Old Man and Eight Nasty Wizards.

Thank you to Jo, a verified purchase, for the 5-star rating: "He's an excellent writer. Very good book for all ages."

A Glory Book Chronicle is available for purchase in paperback and Kindle e-book formats.

Here's a look at the book:

Meanwhile, back in Sadville news reached the wizards of how Tommy and Suzie helped the Little Old Man escape.

“Quick!” shouted Ignorance. “Scour the countryside and find them. I want that Little Old Man – and his helpers too! No one can escape the power of our magic.”

“What are you going to do to the Little Old Man?” roared Wrath.

Ignorance looked at Wrath and with a devilish, giant grin he replied: “I’m going to tie him to a tree in the center of the village so that all the people can see it is useless to try and escape the power of our magic.”

With urgent speed, the Wizards and Ignorance ran off and roamed throughout valley looking for the Little Old Man and children. However, Ignorance took off in such a hurry, he was not wearing his winter garments – hat, coat, gloves and boots – and soon he was frozen like a popsicle from head to toe.

Back at the cave, the Little Old Man, Tommy and Suzie had been asleep for several hours dreaming sweet dreams about the village formerly known as Merryville while outside the snow was coming down harder than before. Suddenly, the old man awoke.

“Wake up children,” said the Little Old Man. “We must get ready to go. Someone needs our help.”

After Tommy and Suzie dressed, they put on their winter garments – hat, coat, gloves and boots – and the trio approached the entrance of the cave. The snow was coming down hard and it was dreadfully dark outside. But the Little Old Man opened the Glory Book and its magnificent, bright light pierced the darkness. “Glory!” shouted the trio and Tommy exclaimed pointing to the light: “Look! the Glory Book has become a light for our path!” Indeed, the snow-covered path was clearly visible, and the trio made their way from the cave into the darkness with the light of the Glory Book as their guide.
