HOLY SPIRIT, HAVE YOUR WAY.

TOPIC: THE GLORY AHEAD: WHEN PAIN BIRTHS ETERNAL PURPOSE.

Right now, we might be facing seasons of suffering and hardship that seem overwhelming. The weight of these challenges might try to cloud our vision, making it difficult to see beyond our present pain. However, Romans 8:18 offers a profound perspective that transforms our outlook on suffering.

—Those current struggles are temporary and insignificant when compared to the eternal glory that awaits us.

Yes, our current struggle is not a full stop, but a comma in God's magnificent narrative of our lives.

What appears as suffering is actually a divine sculpting process, chiseling away the temporary to reveal the eternal masterpiece within you.

See those challenges as the backstage preparation for a grand, glorious performance! Each moment of pain is not punishment, but purposeful preparation. The weight of that present difficulty cannot be measured against the incomprehensible glory being inscribed into our spirits.

This glory is not just a promise, but a reality that will be revealed in us. Our trials and tribulations are shaping us, molding our character, and refining our faith. Just as a sculptor chisels away at a block of marble to reveal a masterpiece, God uses our sufferings to reveal His glory within us.

Think of a diamond. It begins as a rough, unremarkable stone buried deep within the earth. Through immense pressure and time, it transforms into a beautiful, radiant gem. Similarly, our lives are shaped by the pressures of this world, but it is through these experiences that God’s glory shines brightest.

MUST DO:

1. Embrace Hope: When faced with suffering, remember the future glory that God promises. Let this hope be your anchor.

2. Seek God’s Presence: In moments of pain, draw near to God through praise and worship songs, fasting, prayer and scripture reading and meditation. His presence brings comfort and strength.

3. Share Your Testimony: Our experiences and the lessons learned are sources of encouragement for others who are facing similar trials. Amen.

Remember, OUR PAIN HAS AN EXPIRATION DATE. Our purpose is eternal.
