As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect with pride on the road we’ve traveled. Despite the shifts and challenges in the VC industry and across the region, our mission has remained steady: to nurture the AgriFoodTech ecosystem, empower disruptive early-stage startups, and collaborate with corporates to drive meaningful impact.

GLOCAL Game Changers LatAm Series 2024
We worked hard and intensively to run the fifth edition of Latin America’s #1 applied innovation program for AgriFoodTech and Climatech startups, bringing together over 500 applicants from across the region.?
This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our Main Partners, Boortmalt and Surcos , who worked with us every step of the way
The journey culminated in the Final Pitch Day, where 10 finalists showcased solutions that reflect Latin America's diverse innovation ecosystem, tackling challenges across sectors, countries, and SDGs.?
To evaluate these pitches, we had a distinguished jury including: Martin Burlo and Clara De Hertelendy (Surcos), Agustin Tamborini (Boortmalt) and Bernardo Milesy (GLOCAL)

Ecosystem on the move ??
Once again, we contributed as Data Partners for AgFunder’s most comprehensive report on the state of AgriFoodTech investments worldwide.
Despite access to innovative solutions, technological adoption in agriculture remains limited. Combining Big Data and AI, Kilimo is transforming water usage across Latin America by shifting the focus from conventional "proper use of water" to valuing the water farmers save, unlocking a groundbreaking business model
The Final Pitch Day meant the culmination of months of collaboration in an open innovation system that involved not only startups, but also producers, distributors, traders, corporates, early adopters, venture capital funds, and institutions.
