Globish B2B 2024, A Year of Achievements & Initiatives
Hello Medium and welcome to the Year of the Golden Dragon 2024! Today we will be talking with P'Bee, our Director of Business Development (B2B), who has been taking care of our B2B clients for a long time, to summarize the B2B team's milestones along with sharing our goals for 2024!
Before we move on, we will get P'Bee to introduce her team and herself to the readers.
“Hello, I am Bee, Director of Business Development (B2B)." Bee currently oversees a team of consultants who develop language and communication skills for employees in the organization.
Every organisations and businesses wants to progress and become the market leader. In order to achieve that, "Employees" are the most important factor in driving the organization's mission and vision to help us achieve our goals. Bee's team acts as a consultant, plans and designs Learning Solutions to meet the different needs of each organization, taking into account learning goals, employee background, courses that are appropriate for the profession, along with the time period and investment that the organization can expect results from.
Today, Bee's Team have the opportunity to work with over 500 leading organizations nationwide, which is a challenging and fun job at the same time. Each day, we will receive tasks and opportunities from not only many leading world-class organisations but also Thai organisations that needs support in stepping up into the international stage.
This is a very meaningful job for bee as she always feel that she is on the same team as the client sharing a common goal to "develop people's" communication skills. A strong communication skill not only helps with work efficiency but also allows employees to access information more accurately and swiftly hence equipping them with different experiences that help elevate the organization to be able to compete in a rapidly changing market.”
What contributed to the success of the B2B team?
“If you ask about success, I must say that our B2B team has really developed and changed for the better in many ways. We have witnessed growth by leaps and bounds of more than 100%. Today, we have received trust from more than 500 leading organizations in the country who have come to develop the skills of their employees and develop the organization to progress together with us.
In the past year, Bee thinks that what made us successful is because our B2B team does not focus on closing sales results only. We are committed to creating the best results and experiences for every learner, in line with Globish's Mission, 'To be the Education, Enlightening Experience, that is the Hope of Nation.' to be a part in helping organizations change to a better direction and create opportunities for business competition or expansion in the future. Because if employees are better, the organization will be stronger and it will also help our country grow as well."
Bee credits the success in the team to the commitment they have towards creating the best results and experiences for each learner rather than focusing on just closing the sales. The B2B team works in line with Globish's Mission, "‘To be the Education, Enlightening Experience, that is the Hope of Nation. and be a part in helping organizations change to a better direction and create opportunities for business competition or expansion in the future. Does B2B team have any Achievements or Initiatives for Employee Development and and Organizational Growth to our customer?
“Bee would like to give some examples and highlights during the year, such as:
Taking care of employees at PTTEP: Given the opportunity to take care of employees at PTT Exploration and Production is a great pride for our team. PTTEP started the trial course with 150 employees, but with great feedback and the efficient care of our Client Relations and Client Success teams, PTTEP sent over 500 more students in the same year.
In addition, Betagro started with us by sending a group of 80 Executive Level people with a course that meets the needs of employees in terms of time and lessons, including clear and tangible development after graduation. This allowed the executives to provide these opportunities and support employees to develop language skills, adding more than 1,000 people in the past year.
English for Riders: Today, all LINE MAN Riders can access English learning anytime, anywhere. Last year, we collaborated with the LINE MAN Wongnai team to create an English development course for Riders. The content was carefully selected to be necessary for Riders to be able to communicate with foreign customers in order to provide them with the best service.
Each topic is a short 10-15 minute lesson where everyone has the equipment ready to learn and can sit and study and practice while waiting for orders. There is also a workshop where everyone can join and practice with our coaches in a live classroom.
GECB Kingpower: King Power's Digital Transformation team is preparing the organization for the digital era, and Globish is playing a key role in this development by raising awareness about the importance of English in the workplace.

In collaboration with King Power, we provided employees with the opportunity to take the GECB Assessment, a standardized test designed to measure English proficiency in the field of technology (English for Tech Professions). This initiative allows employees to identify their development goals, while also enabling the organization to assess the current skill levels of its workforce and determine the steps needed to elevate their work to an international standard.
English Readiness for Business Growth CANVAS: As you know, this year we aim to go beyond just an English language institute. Our Product & Platform team has designed an English language skill development approach for employees, with the organization’s goals in mind through English Readiness for Business Growth CANVAS. Based on specific organisation goals, we will design and develop the english language growth guidelines with approaches catered to your organisation. Analyzing and understanding this part will help organizations and HR see what their current organization and employees’ foundations are and what direction they should further develop in the future.
Now, there are more than 60 organizations that have received English Readiness for Business Growth Analysis as a guideline for development. We can truly act as a consultant for our customers, in line with what Globish has always strived for.
Creative Talk 1 Stage: In the middle of last year, we collaborated with Creative Talk to organize the event 'HR & PEOPLE Direction: Organizations in this era must...', which was a seminar topic about trends that organizations and HR today often encounter, such as how we can retain Talent in our organizations in the era of Talent War, or managing people of various generations within the organization, or how HR in the future must adapt to be ready for ever evolving society.
We have famous speakers who are experts in people and organization management, such as Mr. Apirat Wanchaem, CDO from SCG, Rawit Hanutsaha CEO from Sri Chand and Mission to the Moon, and Mr. Troy Takarn Ananthothai CDO and Co-founder from Globish, who exchanged their opinions intensively and received very good feedback from HR and all the guests.
In addition to being a solution for improving English for employees, we are also committed to empowering HR from various organizations to be ready to adapt and develop their teams, who are the most important forces of the organization, to move forward steadily with all future changes.”
