Discover Ahiida Pty an #Australian company proving that swimming in your own lane & modesty in business does pay off. In 2003, while watching her niece uncomfortably playing netball in a traditional hijab and veil, Aheda Zanetti, founder of Ahiida had a stroke of genius. She saw a gap in the market for athletes & sports enthusiasts, who follow different faiths and lifestyles, but still want the freedom to play sports without their clothes burdening their performance.

And so she founded - Ahiida - a #modest #swimwear and #sportwear brand offering innovative designs under the #Burkini Swimwear & Hijood Sportswear range. Both developed to reflect & celebrate Islamic values & offer Muslim women the freedom to participate in sports, swimming & day-to-day activities with confidence.

Today the company's Burkini designs have been embraced beyond people of #Muslim faith. Customers of Ahiida's clothing lines range from skin #cancer survivors in need of extra sun protection to those shy-er souls wanting to retain some sense of mystery.

Ahiida's range provides freedom, ease & comfort with built-in modesty. Designed to empower women & young girls of all faiths & body shapes to enjoy and excel at sports & water activities.

Let us introduce you littleBits. This is a unique startup with a great vision. They’re revolutionizing the way kids learn and create using STEM-based educational tools. Just as Lego allows you to create complex structures with little engineering knowledge, littleBits are simple, intuitive, space-sensitive blocks that make prototyping with sophisticated electronics a matter of snapping small magnets together.

They're on a mission “to put the power of electronics in the hands of everyone, and to break down complex technologies so that anyone can build, prototype, and invent’. It wants to ‘democratize hardware’ So, whether you want to make music, remote-controlled vehicles, or learn how to code, littleBits will have a kit to get you and your family excited about inventing.

Do you want to activate your kid's imagination?

Did you know that in the US people spend more than $26 billion annually on floral products? Many of the flowers bought are for special events and occasions. These types of floral arrangements often come with a hefty price tag, are bought all too frequently, and discarded just as fast - in a matter of hours.

Enter Bloomerent, a US company tackling the financial and environmental waste created by the commercial flower industry. Danit Zamar, The founder at Bloomerent, experienced first hand the problem of waste created by the event floral industry when planning her own wedding – but she also saw the huge opportunity it threw her way. And thus, Bloomerent was born, a flower-sharing platform for event hosts. Bloomerent connects customers with florists in their area, allowing them to split the costs.

Her thinking was quite simple – what if your event shares the flowers it orders with another event? This reduces waste, extends the usage & life of your blooms all the while saving both parties money! Isn't it just blooming genius:)

Is flower-sharing something for you?
