Bringing Generation Carbon to global audiences

The Carbon Almanac?is a collaboration of hundreds of writers, researchers, thinkers and illustrators to communicate the impact of CO2 and other greenhouse gases on the climate. The children’s version, Generation Carbon, is free and provides tips on how to make a difference, diagrams, cartoons and illustrations in an easy-to-understand format for children.

Cathryn Barnard?from?The Carbon Almanac?presented a print version of the book to?Thomas Labarthe, President of our Language Services and Technology Division,?to thank RWS for translating the children's version of the book into multiple languages for free.?

Grow global – real-time?AI,?transcription?and?machine translation?powers European Parliament debate

On 14 September, all eyes were on the?European Parliament?in Strasbourg and the?#STATEOFTHEUNION ?2022 debate.

It was exciting to see the combination of our machine translation solution,?Language Weaver, and?CEDAT85's speech-to-text voice recognition platform in action to transcribe and translate the entire debate into 19 European languages in real time.
