Instead, it introduces a new format that complements the existing landscape. This league aims to elevate MMA globally, offering a platform that rivals the scale and scope of the Olympics and FIFA World Cup.

The league's concept has been developed since 2013, focusing on creating a truly international competition. It is registered and protected by the US Copyright Office, ensuring that the league's intellectual property and unique elements are safeguarded. The league's structure, featuring geographical conferences and a tiered competition format, is unprecedented in MMA and offers a fresh approach to the sport.

The MMA World Championship League is designed to complement the existing MMA ecosystem. It provides a platform for fighters and dojos worldwide to compete on an equal footing, regardless of their affiliation with existing promotions. By focusing on inclusivity and global representation, the league offers a unique value proposition that sets it apart from traditional promotions.

Question #5: How can fighters apply for the qualifying rounds in the 170 lbs. division?

For those interested in joining the league the MMA World Championship League has established eight weight-class divisions to ensure the safety and fairness of the competition. Fighters should choose the division that best suits their natural weight and focus on maintaining it within that category. This approach minimizes the risks associated with weight cutting and promotes a healthier approach to the sport.

All fighters are represented by dojos. Dojos are responsible in the selection process of their fighters in the eight-weight class divisions. There are 64 selected dojos in every participating country. Dojos will be able to showcase the skills of fighters and compete against the most formidable dojos in their country. The competition will be fierce, but it also provides an unparalleled platform for fighters and dojos to gain recognition and advance in the sport.

Details about the registration process, including the requirements and deadlines for entering the league, will be announced in due course. Question #6: Where can the list of 128 participating nations be found?

The list of participating nations will be determined by the league's investors and partners, and it will be released at the appropriate time. The selection process will consider various factors, including the level of interest in MMA within each country, numbers of local MMA promotions, audience engagement, etc.

While we anticipate that more than 128 nations will express interest in participating, the final list will be carefully curated to ensure a balanced and competitive league. MMA World Championship League is also developing a program to support dojos and aspiring fighters from countries that may not be selected for the main league. This program aims to provide opportunities for these countries to develop talent of aspiring fighters and able to compete in the future.
