Global Trends and Tools in Talent Acquisition For 2024
Around five years ago, a good friend, Chris Long , wowed the audience at the Melbourne Recruitment Meetup . He demonstrated how it was possible to automate your entire recruitment process while, at the same time, providing a seamless candidate experience. From initial outreach, screening and interview scheduling through to offer and onboarding, Chris identified a suitable platform for the task.
Fast forward to 2024 and the pace of innovation in technology, and its subsequent adoption, just continues to increase. Hearing from industry leaders in newsletters such as Recruiting Brainfood , it's clear the tools we have at our disposal in TA will change and enhance the way TA teams are run and recruitment processes are managed. It's an exciting time for our industry as the ability to create value and a superior candidate experience has possibly never been greater.
With that in mind, I was inspired by both Chris and another innovator, Dave McManus to share some current tools and trends, to hopefully add some value to your 2024 planning:
1. AI & Machine Learning:
Myriad uses include automating mundane tasks, predicting candidate success and identifying cultural alignment.

4. Talent Marketplaces & Gig Platforms:
Accessing specialised skill sets, tapping into freelance talent and building flexible talent pools.

5. Data-driven Talent Analytics:
Measuring recruitment effectiveness, optimising hiring processes and identifying talent gaps.

Unconscious bias detection, talent pool analysis for inclusivity.

10 个月A good list of tools and some that I wasn't as aware of. Nice. Expect to see more 'AI productivity' tools emerge this year that will leverage LLMs out there (like OpenAI) and other open source data that will be packaged and pre-trained to be domain specific... whilst at the same time a lot of this capability will get pre-built into core solutions as well.
