Macy’s missing out on expense visibility ??
It seems like iconic department store Macy’s could use a Miracle on 34th St. in the form of real-time visibility. Last month, the retailer had to delay its earnings report amidst the busy holiday shopping season when an employee was found to have deliberately misstated and hid $154 million in shipping expenses. Yikes!
2024’s Microsoft Excel World Champion named ??
Yes, you read that right. There’s a Microsoft Excel World Championship, and it took place in Las Vegas this month. Canadian financial modeler Michael Jarman took home the coveted title (and wrestling-style belt), beating out Australia’s three-time champ Andrew (The Annihilator) Ngai.
