Global success in 2024 and local roots: ‘The future looks bright for Landmeco says CEO Anders Kristian Andersen
LANDMECO A/S
Our mission is to empower poultry farmers through innovation, sustainability, and prioritizing the chicken's well-being.
2024 has been a busy and successful year for LANDMECO A/S which continues to strengthen its position as one of the world's leading manufacturers of poultry equipment.
With expansion into new markets, strong activity in Europe and optimism about future growth opportunities, the company is looking forward to a good 2025 and 2026.
Breakthrough in the US
One of the biggest successes for Landmeco in 2024 has been the US market.
‘We have opened up the US market and have started to deliver our products over there,’ says CEO Anders Kristian Andersen.
‘’The interest in our products is high and we are still receiving orders, even though there have been uncertainties after the US election. Overall, we see a positive trend in the US, which we expect to continue in 2025 and 2026.’
Landmeco's entry into the US is part of a long-term strategy to bring Danish design and high quality to the global market.
Anders Kristian Andersen emphasises that the entire organisation has played a key role in this success.
‘Our entire team is ready to take responsibility, and I see that our employees are proud of their workplace. That makes me really happy.’
Europe: A core growth area
‘We have just participated in the large trade fair EuroTier in Germany, and it was really positive to see how much interest there is in our products. And in addition to the tailwind and bustle in the US, Europe remains an important market for Landmeco.
‘A lot of positive things are happening in Europe. We see a high demand for renovation, upgrading and replacement of systems, especially in Norway, Germany, France and Spain,’ says Anders Kristian Andersen.
Part of Landmeco's strategy is to strengthen its presence in key markets. As an example, he mentions Susanne Friis, who has moved to Valencia to cover the southern part of Europe. At the same time, the company has increased its activity in the British Isles and Poland.
‘We have several regional centres, so if a market flattens out in one place, we can grow in another. This makes our business strong,’ explains Anders Kristian Andersen.
Challenges and expectations in Asia
In the Asian market, 2024 has brought challenges, but also new opportunities.

‘Frank Andreasen and his family are now settled with work permits, and we have hired three people to strengthen our efforts in the region,’ says Anders Kristian Andersen.
He recognises that competition in Asia is tough, especially with price pressure from China.
‘But we believe there is room for us in that part of the world. We deliver quality and innovation, and that's our strength.’
Ready for the future
In addition to geographical progress, Landmeco has also spent the year strengthening its organisation.
The collaboration with JVR Consult and increased visibility on social media has made it possible to attract new employees and retain existing ones.
The employees have been very willing to join the growth journey, and Anders Kristian Andersen emphasises their commitment:
‘We have a staff that is ready for change, and I'm really proud of that.’
Pride in the Danish flavour
For Anders Kristian Andersen it is important to combine global success with local roots.
‘We are proud to be able to maintain Danish jobs and produce quality products that can compete on a global scale. That makes me happy.’
With 2024 as a strong foundation, Landmeco looks forward to the coming years.
‘We are confident about the future. Our organisation is ready and we look forward to continuing to deliver high-quality Danish design to the world,’ concludes Anders Kristian Andersen.
