Global Sharing and New Economics
AS THE SIXTH RAY withdraws its energy from the many forms it has vitalized, these new forms will begin to crumble and those new forms vitalised by the seventh ray will emerge in increasing strength. We are told the only infrequently do two rays follow sequentially upon each other, and when they do, effect follows quickly upon cause. The sixth ray has prepared the way for the seventh ray, and so the abstract ideals of the sixth ray will be quickly materialised by the seventh ray. Under the sixth ray the separative tendencies of the lower mind in the fifth root race lead to narrow forms of government, religion, and economic systems. Under the seventh ray, the development of the abstarct mind in the fifth root race will lead to the scientific understanding of the divine purpose and hence to a vision of the "bigger picture". This will lead to a tendency towards synthesis in all domains of human activity, and therefore to the end of nationalism, religious dogma and an economic system based on material values and the law of competition. Most notably, the second point of the governing triangle of humanity - that of religion - will tend towards greater synthesis and eventually towards a single world religion. We might assume that the consummation of this process will be achieved when the Christ returns. However, before that momentous event can come to pass, humanity must learn the fundamental principle of sharing. As the sixth ray withdraws its energy from that powerful, separative, global thought-form, the world economic system , and the seventh ray though-forms start to gain traction, there will be a growing need for the nation states to discuss the means of transitioning to a new economic world order based on truer values. In this regard, the common platform and great integrating factor is the physical planetary environment which recognizes no national borders. There is one sun, one planet, one body of circulating air and one body of circulating water. There are 7.3 billion faces radiated by the one-Sun and 7.3 pairs of lungs in rhythmic, synchronous exchange with the one-Air. Air quality, drinking water quality , pollution of the seas, climate change etc. affect all of humanity. This is already acknowledged today, but humanity is as yet too short sighted, and this seventh ray thought-form is as yet insufficiently potent to cause any fundamental change to the world economic thought-form. Any impact remains largely peripheral.
The One Humanity
Curiously, the fact of the one-Humanity is powerfully evident in the world economic system which is governed by the Law of Sully and Deman. The problem is that the fragmentation of business obscures this fact. If there were one global nation with one global business owned by the employees who are also the customers, it would become evident that there are 7.3 billion employees (ignoring age for the sake of simplicity) and 7.3 billion customers. Two things then become immediately apparent: Firstly, if all employees paid X and all products and services are solf for X+Y (in order to make a profit), the customers who are also the employees would not be able to buy all the products and services. The profit would therefore need to be distributed to the owners who are the employees so that the entire rpoduction could be sold without wastage. In our world economy this profit either goes to the corporate owners who will invest (rather than spend) at least part of it, or it remains on the corporate balance sheet. The generation of profit therefore leads to an unjust distribution of wealth in favor of the capitalist and it creates congestion in the natural flow of money, leading to wastage. In our world economic system, it is therefore not possible for all companies to sell their full production, therefore the profit made by successful businesses is paid for by the losses made by unsuccessful businesses. It i evident that a growth economy will mitigate this effect as incremental money and hence purchasing power is continually pouring into a growing economy, bancruptcies necessarily increase.
