World Economic Forum's Global Risk Report 2021 is "out", and as always, well worth a read for risk, business and political leaders around the globe.

My advice: Do read this as inspirational information, and do ignore the "data" embedded as these are large collections of beliefs/evaluations made by people on undefined nominal scales - and as such severely affected by human biases. In example, note that "infectious diseases" are now high on the list of risk, whereas this was not on the impact, nor likelihood top 5 in any one of the past 9 yeas - despite H1N1/SARS and other pandemics making this a known risk.

Insights and articles are worth reading, and leverage for discussions and analyses, invoking how this may lead to your rethinking of strategy and company position of the future. Insights may also lead to specific actions you may decide to take.

Guess what, "infectious disease" is at the top on the risk list which was not the case in the past 5 years, are we really looking at a risk report or an incindent report? ??
