Global Procurement & Logistics Support

Global procurement and logistics support is one of Culmen's largest program capabilities. We provide procurement services for our customers, identifying manufacturers and suppliers in the U.S. and abroad for critical equipment. We analyze products and technologies and provide assessments of alternatives being considered that describe trade-offs between cost, equipment performance, delivery schedule, usability and sustainability. Our personnel manage the export and import processes, including the requirements for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) from the Department of State (DOS) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) from the Department of Commerce. We have a network of international freight forwarders, customs brokers and shippers that enable us to provide surface or air transport anywhere in the world, customs clearance in the U.S. and abroad, and delivery direct to the customer or end user overseas.
