A global Marketing genius

Over the last few years, I've been following and supporting, which was back in the early days, an almost unknown Irish fighter from Cage Warriors. Within these 4 years, 'the Notorious' has become a global phenomenon in both the fighting world and business world.
In 4 years Conor has gone from being unemployed to being on the Forbes rich list.
People are now witnessing what I would argue to be one of the best marketers and sports superstar in our history.
These are my thoughts on why 'the notorious' Conor Mcgregor has become a global money making machine:
Loyalty: Conor speaks constantly of the importance of being loyal and loyalty being more important than belts (awards), popularity and money. Unlike most business brands whom happily change any employee during a 'tough time', Conor has never changed his team, even after the defeat to Nate Diaz where most pundits jumped on the 'band wagon' of blaming movement coach Ido Portal. However, post fight Conor refused to let anyone take the blame but himself.
Visualisation and mind management; Conor has been outspoken from day one of the importance of visualisation, quoting many books that have influenced him such a the 'law of attraction'. In interviews, he constantly speaks that if you truly believe it, visualise it, act it then it will come true.
Action: Conor is a genius in the form of verbalisation and speech. The now famous press conference for UFC 194 'red panty night' which arguably put Conor on the global map. Conor predicted 1 round KO against undefeated 145 world champion, who had never been defeated in his career. Conor's now famous quote "have I been wrong yet" added to his reputation of 'mystic Mac". He was right, 13 seconds it took to knock out Jose Aldo. Every single word Conor says has been backed up with action.
Underdog and never giving up: Every step of the journey Conor has been the underdog. One of the biggest draws for me as a fan was how dismissive everyone has been to young Irish fighter. Each fight Connor has proved the 'haters' wrong and made more fans whilst doing so. The more dismissive the critics have been the more follower Conor has got. Even in defeat to Nate Diaz, Conor came back and proved all doubters wrong at a weight category that was not his own.
Transparency and humbleness: I've never seen or meet anyone who has the ability to have such an outright confidence and showmanship, but still maintains the ability to be so committed to his roots and humble. Watching Conor meet his fans is humbling in itself. He strolls around his home town showing casing a genuine appreciation to every single fan.
