IBJ, Japan's leading matchmaking agency, has achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a new record with 72,728 matches in October 2024. To celebrate this achievement, IBJ has launched a joint campaign with BIU and Ryoenkai, both of which are also in the matchmaking industry and have their own matchmaking agencies. This joint campaign offers discounted membership fees and promotes the "Principle of Successful Marriage," which focuses on supporting couples through to the proposal stage.
Recent research by dating app Hinge has uncovered a surprising link between Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and challenges in online dating. The study reveals that individuals with ADHD face unique obstacles in the digital dating world, with over 20% feeling overwhelmed by these platforms, 75% feeling misunderstood, and many struggling to maintain conversations. With an estimated two million undiagnosed ADHD cases in Britain, difficulties with dating apps could be an overlooked indicator of this condition.
