A recent survey conducted by MillionaireMatch, a dating site for high-net-worth individuals seeking meaningful relationships, provides insights into wealthy singles' video content preferences on dating apps. The study, which focused on 342 millionaire men, reveals that preferences vary significantly across age groups. Millionaires aged 30–40 show a preference for selfie videos, while those in the 40–50 age range favor fitness and music-related content. The survey also identified five types of videos that are particularly appealing to wealthy singles, including travel adventures and pet interactions.
Speed dating events are experiencing a surge in popularity among the over-50 demographic, with this age group emerging as the most profitable for event organizers. Slow Dating, a company specializing in speed dating events, reports that 40.71% of their meetings cater to the over-50 age group, marking a 21% increase from previous years. Industry experts attribute this phenomenon to this demographic's preference for face-to-face interactions, accumulated life experiences, and increased confidence in social situations.

A recent eye-tracking study titled "Visual Attention to Evolutionarily Relevant Information by Heterosexual Men and Women While Viewing Mock Online Dating Profiles" by Amy D. Lykins et al. has uncovered significant differences in how men and women evaluate online dating profiles. The research found that while both genders primarily focus on faces, men tend to prioritize physical attractiveness and seek short-term relationships, whereas women consider both attractiveness and resource potential, often looking for serious relationships.
