Global Lingo - Raising Money via Well-being for Translators Without Borders (TWB)

Global Lingo are delighted to be named as a Bronze sponsor for Translators Without Borders (TWB), the world’s leading, non-profit language & translation support organisation.

Originally founded in 1993, Translators Without Borders link the world translator’s to vetted non-profit organisations that focus on health, nutrition and education.

They aim to close the language gaps that hinder critical humanitarian and international development efforts worldwide.

They do this by utilising the 6 core values: Excellence; Innovation; Integrity; Sustainability; Empowerment & Tolerance. Their vision is a world where knowledge knows no language barriers.

Translators Without Borders have over 100+ sponsors collaboratively working them and building towards a brighter; warmer future. Global Lingo is proud to have recently joined their extensive list of partners.

We are raising money annually via the Global Lingo Strava Club which was established to facilitate a shared place Global Lingo can log running; walking; hiking; swimming and cycling in order to build up their Strava mile count. The more miles, the more the business donates to TWB.

So, as well as improving their personal health/well-being, they are also giving something back to society and the wider global community.

Each January, Global Lingo gather the total number of miles for the previous year, convert it into pounds, and donate the total to Translators Without Borders. Last year’s donation made such an impact they earned the Bronze sponsor award.

Everyone at Global Lingo is looking forward to going the extra mile in 2021. And in doing so, developing their weekly fitness routine, in the knowledge that they are also giving back to the global community.
