General trade grew rapidly and its proportion increased.?In the first eight months, China's general trade imports and exports reached 11.43 trillion yuan, up by 13.1 percent, accounting for 58.8 percent of China's total foreign trade value, 2.1 percentage points higher than the same period last year. Imports and exports to major markets such as the European Union, the United States, ASEAN and Japan all increased, and imports and exports to countries along the Belt and Road grew faster than the overall growth rate. The proportion of private enterprises increased further. In the first eight months, the import and export of private enterprises reached 7.63 trillion yuan, up 11.8 percent, accounting for 39.3 percent of China's total foreign trade, up 0.9 percentage points over the same period last year. Ukraine covers an area of about 600,000 square kilometers, with superior natural resources and environment, and a slightly larger population than Fujian Province.?Ukraine has more than 80 rich minerals that can be exploited, among which iron, manganese, coal and other resources are rich, but oil and gas resources are lacking, so it needs to rely on imports. Rich resources provide Ukraine with the basic conditions for the development of international trade, so that it can maintain the steady growth of trade. Between 2016 and 2019, Ukraine's foreign trade increased from $75.59 billion to $110.85 billion. Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic, foreign trade in 2020 declined to US $102.90 billion. In the five years 2016-2020, Ukraine's imports increased from $39.25 billion to $53.67 billion, while exports increased from $36.34 billion to $49.23 billion. It can be seen that Ukraine's international trade has been basically balanced in recent years, with imports growing slightly faster than exports. But compared with other countries and regions in the world, Ukraine does not rank very high in terms of trade volume. In 2020, Ukraine ranked 47th in the world in terms of exports, after Israel, and 48th in terms of imports, after Nigeria.
Us Import and Export Data: Our trade with the US has been in a perfect and continuously growing surplus. From 2000 to 2018, US import and export data, our trade surplus with the US increased dramatically from US $29.7 billion to US $323.3 billion, a 9.9 times increase in 19 years.?In seven of those 19 years, the share of net exports to the US exceeded 100 per cent, and the US has always played the role of saviour of China's foreign trade, growing rapidly when China's exports falter. For example, in 2015, the peak year of China's net export, the share of China's net export to the US dropped to a low value of 44.0%. After that, China's net export began to show a weak trend and the data began to decline. As a result, the share of China's net export to the US began to rise rapidly and rose to 91.9% in 2018. This is an interesting phenomenon: the United States is the ultimate destination for Chinese manufacturing, the best place for China to sell when other countries can't keep up with the volume of Chinese production.
