???? Benefits of a mock compliance audit
Recently our partner, Global Mobility Solutions, reached out for support. They wanted to ensure their UK client was compliant in their foreign worker population. Not only was it important to track their current foreign work population, but to make sure of immigration options available for future hires.
?We conducted a mock audit and an informal “Immigration 101” training for the UK with their HR team.
?Mock audits aim to show the importance of the following:??
-Standardizing hiring protocols
-What particular employer information should be tracked
-The risks associated with not proper record keeping

?????Japan updates Covid-era visa waiver rule (official from today, 11 October)
Straight from Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs?and translated by Google. The country has finally lifted most?Covid-era rules. All but the "fully vaccinated" requirement. From the MoFA:??
1. Certificate of Registration via ERFS is no longer required for any type of visa application for any nationals if they are entering Japan on Oct. 11th onward.
2. Visa waiver is resumed for all nations/regions that are currently suspended from Oct 11th onward.
3. Only those recognized as “fully vaccinated” to the definition of the Japanese authority or those with negative certificates satisfying the requirement of the Japanese authority are allowed entry/re-entry to Japan, same as now.
4. On-arrival COVID tests nor quarantine after arrival is no longer required for any travelers unless you are presenting symptoms suspicious of the COVID infection from Oct 11th onward.
