Global fintech players are meeting in Istanbul

Turkey's first and largest global financial technology event, Istanbul Fintech Week , is bringing together world-renowned names for the fourth time. The summit, to be held at Istanbul Fi?ekhane on February 8th and 9th, will host over 50 sessions. The event expects speakers, experts, and participants from around 30 countries. This year, three countries of select, #Azerbaijan, #Romania, and #Lithuania, will showcase their #fintech #ecosystems at Istanbul Fintech Week where Turkiye is represented by leading banks, payment companies, and technology firms mirroring the country’s strength in #financial #technologies.

Istanbul Fintech Week, spearheaded by the Fintech Association Turkey (FINTR), starts on February 8th. This year's fourth edition of Turkey's first and largest global financial technology event, Istanbul Fintech Week, will host over 50 sessions over two days. The summit will take place at Istanbul Fisekhane and will be attended by delegations from 30 countries. The event will include panels, roundtable discussions, and sessions in which the global fintech experts will discuss the market, trends, and innovation. #Startups will have the opportunity to meet with investors.

Two days, three summits

The event will feature three summits: #Blockchain #Fest, #Digital #Finance #Summit, and #Women in #Fintech #Summit. On February 8th, the Blockchain Fest will consist of discussions and panels on #decentralization, #crypto trading, #regulations, #web3, #DAOs, and #metaverse services. ?On February 9th, Digital Finance Summit will have experts and keynote speakers debating digital transformation in financial services, #mobile #banking, #payments, #artificialintelligence, and #digitalassets. The same summit will have a segregated session on insurtech by hosting keynote speakers, including Mr. Mehmet Akif Ero?lu , Chairman of the Insurance and Pensions Regulatory and Supervision Authority, and Mr. Atilla Benli , Chairman of the Insurance Association of Turkiye. The event will also feature the success stories of women entrepreneurs and leaders in the industry. Meanwhile, the award ceremony for the "Pioneers of Digital Finance" program, which will be held in partnership with KPMG and FINTR, will also take place at Istanbul Fintech Week. At the ceremony, awards will be given in 7 categories to banks that have developed innovative products, services, and solutions. The opening speech of the ceremony will be delivered by the Presidential Financial Office of Türkiye.
