Global Fintech Leaders to Gather at 13th Africa Fintech Summit on April 24, 2025, in Washington DC, During World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings

On April 24, 2025, regulators, policymakers, financial industry executives, fintech founders, leading innovators, investors, US-Africa investment stakeholders and Afroprenours from around the world will gather in Washington DC, USA, for the 13th edition of the Africa Fintech Summit (AFTS). The summit will take place at the historical Halcyon House in the heart of Georgetown, Washington, DC.

With participants who represent over $4.5bn in strategic investment and VC funding, AFTS is the premier global initiative dedicated to financial technology in Africa. The bi-annual summit occurs each April in Washington, D.C., on the sideline of the WB/IMF Spring meetings, and each November in a different African city, most recently in Nairobi (2024), Lusaka (2023), Cape Town (2022), Cairo (2021), Virtual (2020), Addis (2019) and Lagos (2018).
