Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW Albania) concluded its successful run, on November 20th. This week brought together forward-thinkers, business visionaries, and enterprises from diverse backgrounds. More than 60 events were organized in four Albanian cities from November 13th to 19th, 2023. A multitude of entities offered their support, totaling 35 partners including public and private domains, academia, and international bodies.
?This year, GEW was organized by the Ministry for Entrepreneurship and Business Climate, with the main goal to increase interaction between all innovation ecosystem actors and transform the culture of doing business with access to global innovations. Representatives from the Albanian government, EU delegation, German Development Cooperation, Swedish Embassy, and GIZ were present in various panel discussions, round tables to celebrate and discuss their perspectives on Albania's achievements in innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
The varied sessions involved narratives of empowerment and motivation drawn from the experiences of both national and international entrepreneurial figures. Numerous activities were facilitated by diverse partners: dialogues with female entrepreneurs, ambitious youth, and corporate leaders; along with panel discussions, presentations, and sectoral analyses. Attendees were offered opportunities to tour businesses and participate in specialized meetings with overseas and local corporate heads.
