Welcome to the latest edition of Global Credit Insight! February was a month of recognition, connection, and innovation for us at GCR. From celebrating industry excellence at the CICM British Credit Awards to constant improvement of our offering with a new escalation process that we can now offer to our brilliant clients, we’ve been busy ensuring we continue to support businesses effectively.?
Our team has also been on the move - discussing domestic collections with UK businesses and catching up with valued clients at the ICTF MENA Conference in the UAE. As always, we’re committed to delivering results while strengthening relationships across the industry. Charles also visited clients in a very chilly Poland and currently, Joshua and Charles are visiting Budapest to catch up with a new client. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.
Celebrating Industry Excellence at the British Credit Awards
We were delighted to be finalists at the CICM British Credit Awards last month. It was a fantastic evening, and our Managing Director, Joshua Mayhew, had the honour of presenting an award to one of the best in the industry. Recognising excellence in credit is always a privilege, and we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating with so many outstanding professionals.

Catching Up with Clients in Europe and the UAE?
Our CEO, Charles Mayhew, and Managing Director, Joshua Mayhew, were back on the move, heading to our UAE office to attend the ICTF MENA Conference. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders and catch up with some of our valued clients in the region. Charles also made his way to Warsaw to catch up with clients, quickly followed by a trip to Budapest to support and discuss the future with clients in person. They also grabbed a rare couple of spare hours for some sight seeing at the Széchenyi Thermal Baths whilst over in Budapest catching up with a global SSC client.
New: Escalation on the Same Terms?
We’re always looking for ways to make collections easier for our clients. That’s why we’re introducing a new offering: escalation on the same terms as our usual recovery processes. If a case needs to be escalated, you’ll get the same no collection, no fee approach that we already offer - giving you peace of mind that there’s no risk in trying to recover what’s owed.?
