• On 7 November 2024, an online seminar from Sweden introduced Better Cooperate! Social Entrepreneurship Training, aimed at empowering youth and supporting the professionals who guide them. Attended by youth workers, trainers, and facilitators, the event showcased the training’s curriculum, objectives, and hands-on activities designed to inspire young changemakers. Participants had the opportunity to explore the program's practical methodologies and engage in an interactive feedback session, offering valuable insights to further refine this educational resource for young social entrepreneurs.

• On 7 November 2024, ImpactFest, the flagship event of ImpactCity The Hague, took place in The Hague, The Netherlands. Founded by the municipality of The Hague, ImpactCity embodies the core principle of "doing good and doing business." Since its inception in 2016, ImpactFest has grown into one of Europe's leading impact events, attracting purpose-driven organizations from around the world. The event brought together key changemakers to network, collaborate, and explore solutions to global challenges, solidifying its reputation as an essential gathering in the international impact ecosystem.

• On 7 November 2024, the Social Enterprise Summit Scotland 24 took place at the Surgeon’s Quarter Quincentenary Conference Centre in Edinburgh. With the theme "Catalyst for Change: Social Enterprise Driving a Wellbeing Economy," this key event gathered those shaping the future of Scotland's social enterprise sector. Hosted by Social Enterprise Scotland (SES), the summit advanced discussions from previous years, focusing on the latest policy and practice developments that will drive the sector’s impact in the coming years. The summit was part of a broader programme running from 6-8 November, including Community Learning Exchanges on 6 November and the EDI Social Enterprise Celebration and Showcase on 8 November.?

• From 11-22 November 2024, COP29, the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference, is taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan, serving as one of the world’s key forums for shaping international climate policy. The conference focuses on combating climate change and aims to limit global warming to 1.5°C, emphasizing the urgent need for investment in climate action. Discussions center on boosting ambition through national plans and transparency, while driving action with effective financing to reduce emissions and address climate impacts. The event brings together representatives from governments, civil society, the private sector, financial institutions, local communities, and the media to collaborate on solutions to global climate challenges.
• On 12-13 November, Lagos, Nigeria, hosted the second West Africa Deal Summit alongside the seventh Annual Convening on Impact Investing. With the theme “Actions to Deepen Catalytic Capital in West Africa,” the event featured plenary sessions, curated deal rooms, and an impact fund showcase, bringing together impact investors, development finance institutions, limited partners, general partners, philanthropic organizations, government representatives, local and international NGOs, social enterprises, and other key decision-makers in West Africa's impact investment landscape.
• From 12-15 November 2024, the ICMIF Biennial Conference is taking place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, hosted by ICMIF members AACMS and ADIRA. This unique event brings together mutual and cooperative insurance leaders from around the world to address priority issues and future trends shaping the industry. It features unrivaled peer-to-peer networking, inspiring panel sessions with sector leaders, and informative presentations from renowned global speakers, alongside specialist events for the Young Leaders Programme. The 2024 conference follows the Centenary Conference held in Rome in October 2022, which celebrated ICMIF's 100th anniversary and featured plenary sessions now available on the ICMIF Knowledge Hub.
• On 13 November 2024, the final B-WISE Conference, titled Boosting Employment of Workers with Support Needs and Boosting Skills for Work Integration, took place at the European Economic and Social Committee, in Brussels.The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss how Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs) support millions of people with varying skill needs while also meeting local economic demands.
