The world in Chaos: And the implications for India!

#US: Capitol Hill invaded. Covid deaths continue to set new records each day. Trump’s legacy will continue to haunt for a long time, making transition a painful exercise. Both senate and the congress will need to focus on bringing normalcy back. #BLM, Disastrous Covid, and a highly polarized voter base not ready to reconcile with the opposing groups calls for a long term confidence build up internally, leaving world politics to fend for itself. Incoming Biden administration will find it convenient to toe the line taken by Trump admin, to continue to enhance the already strong partnership with India.

#Europe: #Britain pulled out of European Union, starting a long drawn process of negotiating a new deal with Europe, on trade as well as political issues. #Scotland wants to separate; Northern Ireland too wants to unite with Ireland. Covid casualties continue to mount across Europe, resulting in a perpetual shutdown. India's relations with France and Germany are in good shape, and Britain with its domestic and EU issues to deal with will offer headroom for striking a lot of favorable deals for India.

#China still reeling under the blame for being the epicenter of Covid. ASEAN nations squabbling over tariffs. India's relations with China havent been cordial of late, however, China now being cornered and facing global backlash will relent on a lot of issues with India, particularly on international border and trade ;a good opportunity to hit the reset button with China.

#Israel finally succeeds in breaking logjam with Arab world. #SaudiArabia is making peace with #Qatar. India , with its cordial relations with both Israel and the Arab world can capitalize on this.

All this can translate into opportunities for India to raise the game and capitalize on its resources.

India too has its share of chaos.

All this, coupled with the changing dynamics of world order blesses India with multitude of opportunities in manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, defence, and technology space.

India is poised for a growth jackpot in 2021!
