Together with additional private investment, Indivumed will spend approximately €100M over the next few years to transform its leading and unique global biobank of high-quality tissue into a comprehensive high-performance analytical cancer database. Exclusive genetic, (?multiomics-“) expression and immunophenotypic data combined with extensive clinical information from several thousand cancer patients will be analyzed using deep learning and artificial intelligence algorithms and presented via an IT portal solution. Access to additional archived biological material for specific analytical requirements together with the ability to add additional patient cohorts with new data sets on a global scale will further contribute to this unique technology platform solution.
Over the course of 15 years, we have personally developed and used more than 150 scientific and unified SOP’s for a quality-driven collection of biospecimen and clinical data within a global clinical partner network of excellence. Thereby, we have developed the scientific prerequisite to now turn a vision into reality: understanding the complexity of cancer – the only way to finally cure this devastating disease with personalized medicine.
