The Public- Private Sector Forum
#opportunities #solutions #connections - these are the keywords that define the Parliamentary Private Forum, the first international forum dedicated to national Parliaments and committees, as well as private sector representatives who have a real impact on the field of IT&C. The first edition will be held on the first of October, 2022, at the Palace of Parliament.
More than 13 countries will be represented by parliamentarians, ambassadors, and diplomatic corps officials. Among them, are the United States, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Portugal, Siria, and Pakistan.
In addition, prominent names from the IT&C industry from around the world have accepted the invitation. Members of the management of SpaceX, Apple, Vodafone Technology, NTT DATA EMIAL, UIPath, and Bitdefender will be joined by other experts and leaders in digitization, to talk about how future changes will be implemented in the business world.
"The future belongs to those who understand that together we are better and stronger. It's a useful event for tech companies, but also an opportunity for the entire private sector to be a dialogue partner and actively contribute to the shaping of global policy. It is the first edition, but it will certainly remain a reference event in the industry, which we intend to continue," said Sabin S?rma?, Chairman of the IT&C Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, which initiated this project.
Connecting the unconnected
Emerging technologies are currently connecting continents, bringing people together from all around the globe, and having an ever-increasing impact on the economic and social environment and daily life. We can no longer discuss international development without considering coordinated national actions to build a framework that enables the improvement of the quality of life.
The main objective of the event is to provide legislators and representatives of the private sector with strategic considerations for their actions in the field of communications and digital development at the national level.
The Parliamentarians - Private Sector Forum thus offers a promising start: an applied dialogue with an exchange of views, useful information, and solutions for the digital future and a business environment adapted to the new realities.
