Inside Look at TCX Electronics' Cutting Room
As all PCB production begins with cutting, I'd like to offer you a glimpse into our cutting room here at TCX Electronics.
At the entrance to the cutting room, where the first thing that catches the eye is a bulletin board dedicated to operational guidelines. This board is adorned with detailed instructions and pictorial warnings, providing workers with a visual and textual guide to the do's and don'ts of the process.
In this stage of the process, monitoring temperature and humidity is necessary, so a hygrometer is placed just next to to board.
Then, you will see our senior cutting operator, who has been working in this position for 6 years. He is familiar with every corner, every detail, and every precaution of this cutting room. When he arrives at his territory, he usually conducts necessary inspections, cleaning, and testing on the equipment. After getting the lot card, he will also confirm the inner and outer layers, the warp and weft directions, etc. before starting to cut the material.
The materials that are about to be used are placed in the specified locations in an orderly manner, which can help employees find the right materials quickly and carry out their work efficiently.
Waste materials are stored in designated locations in an orderly manner, which not only helps maintain a safe and clean working environment, but also helps reduce costs so that we can provide customers with more competitive price support.
