Some Lessons that I learnt from my Daddy are as follows:
- Lesson 1:??Life is a Rat Race for most:?People do what most others are doing, wake up, go to work, come back, go out/watch TV, Go to sleep and wake up the next morning to go to work again. Start thinking and doing out of this pattern.
- Lesson 2:??Fourth Law of Motion:?An individual will only move if the motivational force comes from within the individual.
- Lesson 3:??Whenever you see an opportunity just grab it:?Don't let go of any opportunity, you never know which one will pan out.
- Lesson 4:??Excellence in whatever you do in Life:?If you are not going to be a Top Gun in what you do, don't do it. You have to be the best in what you do, only then you succeed.
- Lesson 5:??Perseverance is the key to success:?Keep doing it if you want to do it and you will succeed.
- Lesson 6:??Money is a collateral damage:?A spendthrift can lose the target, focus on the target and everything will automatically fall in place.?
- Lesson 7:??You must Dream first!!:?In order to achieve anything in life you need to have a vision, a foresight, a dream about it, to eventually achieve it.
- Lesson 8:?Take Risks in Life:?Unless you take risks in life, how are you going to achieve great milestones that you are destined to achieve. I know risks are hard but they are a part of the journey and you have to face them head on.
- Lesson 9:??Respect is earned; when you are technically strong at what you do:?You have to be the best at doing the job before you start managing it, that is the only way you can earn respect.
- Lesson 10:??Be Rich- What is Richness??My definition of richness is the ability to impact the lives of thousands of people positively. When other people's livelihood is associated with you, you earn for all of them first and then distribute to them, whereas when you are working just for yourself, you are also earning just for yourself. The question you need to ask you here is, am I richer if I earn for all of them and their families or if I earn for just me and my family? This has worked wonders for me.
- Lesson 11:??Be a giver, not a taker:?It is always about giving, with no expectation of receiving anything in return. This mindsets is what leaders are made up off. Only give and give relationship that is!
- Lesson 12:??Be a leader in all walks of life:?Lead, don't be average, think out of the box, achieve excellence and be the best in everything in life. If you are not the best it won't work out!
- Lesson 13:??Always aim at making more than spending more. Assets over Liabilities:?It's easy to spend, and hard to sustain and eventually grow and that is the ultimate goal!
- Lesson 14:??Never Say, “ I don't care":?A couldn't careless attitude leads to being average, and there is no way we can be OK with that.
- Lesson 15:??Never come home tired:?When you come back home from work never tell your spouse and kids that you are tired. They have been waiting for you and they deserve the fresh you, to enlighten their day. Which leads me to my next lesson.
- Lesson 16:??When you love what you are doing, you never get tired:?Love what you do and Do what you love, trust me you will never be tired again.
- Lesson 17:??Be the one who Builds the empire, not the one who consumes it all, till it's no more:?This one is tied to Lesson 13. When you grow as a businessman, you try to make the best possible decision with the largest profit margin and the most minimum expense. Remember, invest in high ROI projects, businesses & tasks. Trust me you will eventually see exponential growth.
- Lesson 18:?If its too good to be True it probably is:?If it does not seem reasonable and is over exciting or ideal, it probably is not genuine, or real. Snap out of it! Time is money and we all need it in some shape or form, stop wasting time on red flags.
- Lesson 19:?Work Done = Force × Distance:?You can try to do whatever you want to achieve, apply great force and work really hard on it, but it won't matter if you don't travel a distance, you don't have progress or you are not moving towards your goal. Because in order to get work done, you need to apply all your force in the direction of your goal and travel a distance towards the destination.
- Lesson 20:?Initiative followed by Finish-iative:?It's very easy to start something, but most of the people leave it hanging. and so as starting something is important, the motivation and the ability to finish what you started, Finish-iative, is of equal importance.
Will let you know when its published. Stay Tuned!
