In Kenya, elections were held on August 9, 2022. This was followed by contention in court regarding the winner. The case determined by the supreme court. I reiterate the question that I posed before to my fellow Kenyan, “Why do we depend on ‘Political Kings’ in our communities to determine whether we will live harmoniously or not?”?Kenyans need to rise above political gimmicks and manipulations. We should build as part of our inherent values, a culture to live with each other peacefully in and outside the political seasons. We need our country to flourish and not be pulled back each political season. The current economic downturn is a reason enough to say no more to political animosity. Let us pull our efforts together to build our nation.
