In a groundbreaking initiative, 25 passionate and visionary students from various specializations at CREAPOLE embarked on a thrilling journey to create the next generation of sportswear brand. Over the course of 24 sessions, these aspiring innovators worked together as an open-source organization, driven by the shared goal of delivering outstanding solutions within a zero-budget framework. With the Creative Direction of a seasoned footwear veteran Saul Emmanuel Maret ( Adidas /Reebok/Decathlon) ,the support from industry-leading experts and the guidance of highly experienced Educator Alban B. Usaku ,they set out to craft a brand that redefines the boundaries of sportswear.

Vision and Mission:
Vision and mission were the very first steps in the pedagogic approach tailored for the students, aiming to explore a new way to consume sportswear and deliver an innovative purchase experience by utilizing existing resources. The students were encouraged to think beyond traditional norms and create a path that transcends established boundaries. Instead of solely focusing on product development, they were driven to redefine the entire sportswear consumption journey. They aimed to revolutionize the way people interact with sportswear, from the moment of discovery to the final purchase and beyond. By leveraging existing resources creatively, they sought to reimagine sustainable practices, technological integration, and experiential aspects to provide unparalleled value to their customers. Embracing the philosophy of creating rather than following, the students embarked on a transformative endeavor to shape the future of sportswear consumption and establish a new paradigm in the industry.

Crafting the Ethos and DNA:
The second step in this adventure was to define the ethos and DNA of the brand. The students delved deep into understanding the core values that would shape their sportswear vision. Through intense brainstorming sessions, research, and collaborative discussions, they explored concepts such as inclusivity, sustainability, performance, and style. By weaving these elements together, they aimed to create a brand that would resonate with athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and fashion-conscious individuals alike.

Physical Expression:
To manifest their project's essence and embody its DNA and ethos, the student team embarked on the creation of a concept footwear piece that celebrated circularity and innovative technologies. Drawing inspiration from their sustainability-focused vision, they ingeniously repurposed leftover TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) filaments, a common material in sportswear production. By utilizing these discarded filaments, they demonstrated their commitment to minimizing waste and embracing circular practices.
With meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, the students transformed the TPU filaments into a stunning and unique footwear design. They skillfully incorporated circularity technologies, such as upcycling and recycling, to showcase the potential of sustainable manufacturing methods. Each intricate detail of the concept footwear piece reflected the team's dedication to pushing the boundaries of eco-conscious design.
The concept footwear became a tangible representation of their project's values and aspirations. It served as a visual testament to the team's ability to merge cutting-edge technologies, sustainability principles, and outstanding creativity. Through this physical expression, the students conveyed their unwavering commitment to a future where sportswear seamlessly blends style, performance, and environmental consciousness.
