Glimpse Into The Future ....
I don't need to walk through the doors of Gabb Wireless to know they have an awesome culture. The good vibes coming from there radiate throughout this platform. And when companies have great cultures it's never a random thing - you can always trace it back to a source. Here is theirs ....
When you look at this photo of Nate Randle on a trip to Hawaii you see perfection. His post explains in perfect detail how we'll all behave in the new era - not just the good people of Hawaii who have embedded it into their culture and traditions - all of us.
From his post, "There are several aspects to creating a positive work environment. I won’t be able to cover all of them here. For this post, I’ll focus on the way I want our culture to feel. During a trip to Hawaii, I was invited to play golf with a group that plays together every week. I had one friend in the group but the rest I was meeting for the first time. When we arrived, they gave me a Lava Lava. I had never worn one before so they showed me how to put it on and we had some good laughs. Everyone remembered my name. They asked about my life, family and personal interests. When I hit a good shot, they celebrated as if it was their own. After the round, they had dinner prepared. We sat at the small clubhouse and they insisted that I get my food first. When I left, they extended an open invitation to join them again whenever I wanted. Welcomed. Accepted. Appreciated. Valued. Respected."

Now here comes the other part of this - you can have the best culture in the world and spread good vibes wherever you go - but the world will still be on an unsustainable path. And that won't be good for any business.
Even an incredible place like Hawaii that may have better values than other regions in the world has experienced many disasters. I've often shared how nature wants us to treat each other better, so what is missing?
In addition to treating others the way we would want to be treated, we need to be conscious of what we're working against. We need to be fully aware that our natural inclinations are to elevate ourselves, and how elevating others takes a special effort. Then we're going to need to apply this to our daily affairs in a very active and systematic manner - we're going to need to actively invest in human connection. But we're going to need to understand that we're doing this to train ourselves to rise above the ego's natural tendencies.
So to make a long story short, nature doesn't just want us to live happily ever after. It wants us to learn to accelerate our development in a very conscious way so we can reach our full potential. Since the human ego is growing, we're going to need greater and greater sources of fulfillment. So the future will mainly be about us all learning to get the new fuel we'll need for the new era. All the good we seek will come from our good connection.
