Glide Path or Parachute?

Today there are several "Blue Chip Companies" as well as "Newbie Companies" that are caught up in the HYPE to build an AIR TAXI!!!!! These companies have "GEE WIZ" designs that have impressed the IVY League Scholars and the nose in the air VC firms but none of these designs have thought about what happens without power/propulsion!
Venture Capital ought to know the definition of "Glide Path" but maybe they don't teach that in VC101....
PAY CLOSE ATTENTION - Glide Path: glide path
?ɡlīd ?paTH/
noun:
- an aircraft's line of descent to land, especially as indicated by ground radar.
- a series of events or actions leading smoothly to a particular outcome."we are on a glide path to success"
In aerodynamics, the lift-to-drag ratio, or L/D ratio, is the amount of lift generated by a wing or vehicle, divided by the aerodynamic drag it creates by moving through the air. ... The term is calculated for any particular airspeed by measuring the lift generated, then dividing by the drag at that speed
None of these companies speak of "Glide Path" or safety redundancies. Ignorance over common sense can equal catastrophic failure.
So you have a "GEE WIZ" design? Show us your safety redundancies in place. Will your aircraft "auto rotate" ? FEELING LUCKY? -
You only have less than 30 mins of flight time!? Not every landing with a parachute will be this lucky. Imagine landing in the middle of a hiway or electric transmission line.
