Thrilled to introduce Ria Sewak of our Client Solutions team who has been with us since 2021 and has a few things to say about GLG’s work culture.

1. What is it about this job and GLG that keeps you motivated?

The kind of mentorship that I get on a day-to-day basis, I have not seen a lot of people working elsewhere receive.? Everyone across levels, including the CEO is approachable, which is extremely encouraging specially if you’re eager to learn and take up new opportunities. Managers really help you lead your career the way you want to, as I have here, arriving in a role that fits me best. I got.

2. What are some of the key transferable skill sets you feel you brought with you and the new skills you have acquired through your GLG experience thus far?

Arriving at GLG, I felt confident in adaptability and communication as well as being a team player. ?Skills that I’ve acquired so far include client servicing, stakeholder management, and relationship building. I can attribute much of this growth to mentorship, which is central to how we lead our teams and that’s very important to all the leaders here.

3. Share one of your favourite GLG moments / events / experience that helps showcase GLG Culture and environment.

I was part of a new initiative called “mentorship circles” part of GLG’s women+ diversity network, pairing me with two women from our organization. My topic of choice was networking and brand building, and it was truly inspiring to meet such tenured people within this company who have achieved excellence in their roles. They mentored us on building a brand and networking. As someone early in my career, these insights have been extremely helpful.
