Glen Warner Named President of the Highway Electrical Association

After serving for a year as Vice President, we are delighted to announce that our very own LINC Technical Director Glen Warner has been elected President of the Highways Electrical Association (HEA) at the HEA conference 2022.

The HEA is one of the largest and most influential bodies within the sector, representing over 100 organisations whose contract services range from street lighting and traffic signals to highway communications.

Ringway has a strong affiliation with the HEA, with Glen representing Ringway on the HEA Council for 6 years, and Andy Wallace (LINC Compliance Manager) being the Chair of the Training & Standards committee.

The HEA oversees some key areas that affect our lighting business, such as compliance with HERS (Highways Electrical Registration Scheme) & Sector Scheme 8, and the Highways Electrical Skills Academy (HESA). The latter is the overseeing body for the recently launched LINC Training Centre.
