Glassnode expands its global Institutional sales team

Glassnode, the global leader for on-chain intelligence, is expanding its global institutional sales team. Following years of consecutive growth, these four key hires will bolster Glassnode’s institutional offering and help further increase adoption among family offices, hedge funds, researchers, and directional as well as quantitative traders.

Global sales will be led by Head of Sales, Andreas C. Thode who previously led the banks and broker desk at Bank Frick. Most recently, he was the Co-head of Sales for Covario AG, a prime brokerage for digital assets.

Rounding out the institutional sales team are three experienced Directors:

• Paras Arora , formerly Senior Sales Manger at Zodia Custody, a digital assets custody venture backed by Standard Chartered and Northern Trust
• Daniel Heffernan , formerly Pitchbook’s Senior Business Development Manager
• Brett Singer , formerly Enterprise Sales at rival on-chain data competitor, Nansen.

Together, Andreas, Paras and Daniel will serve Glassnode’s home markets — Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Brett will focus on the US market.

Institutional demand for digital assets continues to grow. A 2022 survey of institutional investors found that over half (58%) were already invested in digital assets. Even more (74%) planned on investing in the future.
