Glasgow Hotels Progress

As we roll towards Spring 21 and settle into another challenging and eventful year, I would like to take a quick moment to share some progress, on our hotels in Glasgow, despite the challenges of weather, the unprecedented 2020 and the COVID-19 start to 2021. 

Hotels also form the centrepiece for the continued redevelopment of the Grade A Listed Custom House on Glasgow’s historic Clydeside waterfront, which continued apace in 2020. We have seen great work delivered by the onsite team, Michael, Benny, Pat, Ritchie, and all at MacAleer Rushe. 

Construction of this four-star 303-bed Clayton Hotel and a 162-bed Adagio aparthotel progressed well despite the lockdown restrictions and is now established as a central component to the St Enoch Quarter regeneration, sympathetically retaining and restoring the landmark 100-year-old Custom House building. Supported by Union GMB – delivery is targeted for Summer 2022.
