#GivingTuesdayNow and how AudienceView is Giving Back

Today the Giving Tuesday team kicked of #GivingTuesdayNow, in recognition of the extraordinary needs created by the impact of COIVD-19. This has taken on new significant meaning this year in the live entertainment world. Across the US, there are more than 110k non-profit organizations operating in the Arts, Culture and the Humanities, and AudienceView is proud to partner with thousands of them who use our software or services.

With the impact of COVID-19, the vast majority of these organizations are partly or fully shut down, and are at risk of not being able to continue to bring art to life in their communities across the US and around the world.

The AudienceView team is not only passionate about the work they do, they are also passionate patrons and fans of the arts. As the industry has continued to struggle, I am extremely proud of the work we’ve done to support our clients.

Today, I’d like to highlight the creativity and resourcefulness of our TheaterMania team, a vital part of our AudienceView portfolio.

TheaterMania created the #BwayHandwashChallenge that generated more than 500k social media shares, each one asking for people to donate to The Actor’s Fund or an arts-centric organization of their choice.

They offered their social media muscle to bring attention to virtual events that our ticketing clients were offering. We had close to 200 responses to that call, and our social shares created more than 300k impressions for their events.

We launched our Giving Newsletter to bring the attention of our TheaterMania subscribers to the great work our non-profit clients are doing around the country. To date, we’ve sent 15 editions of the newsletter to a collective 3 million people and more than 30,000 people have clicked on a charity donation link.

Finally, we’ve been using our advertising space to bring The Actors Fund and other non-profit theater organizations to the attention of the 240k passionate arts fans that visit TheaterMania every week.

AudienceView loves the arts. If you do as well, please consider making a donation today to The Actors Fund or the performing arts charity of your choice.
