#GIVINGTUESDAY: National Peace Corps Association

Dear Friends,

This year, I’ve volunteered to be a #GivingTuesday Champion for National Peace Corps Association (NPCA). NPCA is a private, nonprofit, social impact organization comprised of, and driven by, the more than 250,000 individuals that share the Peace Corps experience.

As many of you know, I served in the Peace Corps in Bolivia from 2000-2002. My service was incredibly impactful for me personally and hopefully inspired my beautiful community of Las Carreras, Bolivia.

NPCA serves as the catalyst to enable and empower members of the Peace Corps community to advocate for the future of the Peace Corps, promote greater cross-cultural understanding and acceptance, and mobilize support for sustainable humanitarian development projects around the world.

I’ve pledged to get 10 people to donate at least $10 to NPCA’s Advocacy Fund for #GivingTuesday. Every day, NPCA fights for a bigger and better Peace Corps. They want to ensure that future generations have the opportunity to volunteer, and that volunteers return from their service safe and healthy.

In order to do that, NPCA needs additional funds to put together toolkits, webinars, and advocacy action days that will show Congress that Americans believe that the Peace Corps is one of the most important investments we can make in our national security and the future of our nation.

Please help me honor my pledge today by donating $10 or more to NPCA’s Advocacy Fund.

Thank you for supporting me, and my efforts to promote a more peaceful and prosperous world.

 Warmest regards,

Kristina
