Giving Yourself the Gift of Peace of Mind

Hello there!
This year got off to an unusual start for me.
You see, thanks to some extreme weather that toppled many trees around our city, we rang in the New Year without power.
I’m grateful we’d decided to spend the evening at home due to the cold, rainy weather.
We’d finished cleaning up from our delicious dinner and polished off the bottle of Chandon just as the power went out for the second time on New Year’s Eve.
Shiny Coleman camping lantern in hand, we herded the bulldogs and the cats into our bedroom and sat in bed reading our iPads for an hour or so before giving up and going to bed early.
Not the most exciting New Year’s Eve, but it?definitely?was cozy!
For those wondering how we were reading on our iPads with the power out, let me share with you one of the best things I’ve ever purchased for my home office: a battery backup power supply. This heavy, expensive hunk of technology keeps the flickering electricity in our midcentury house from frying my computer. And when the power goes out completely, it keeps the fiber internet router powered for hours.
It is one of those investments that give me ongoing peace of mind, especially since our business is based out of my home office.
As you head back into your office and start setting your?content?marketing plans in motion, now is a great time to think about what could give YOU greater peace of mind at work.
Are there some operational improvements you’ve been putting off? Do you have some manual tasks you could easily automate or outsource to free up your time for the work that really matters?
If you want some support in setting your intentions in this area, I hope you will join us on LinkedIn or Twitter next Monday for the first #ContentChat of 2023.
Cheers,
Erika
