Giving Tuesday Spotlight: Brown Girls Do Ballet
The Alzenia Project
A nonprofit resource leveraging impact of other nonprofits committed to helping young women, especially women of color.
Dear Friends,
?As Giving Tuesday approaches, we will have an opportunity to support young girls of color who dream of bringing their passion to the stage. This week, we’re proud to spotlight Brown Girls Do Ballet, an Alzenia Project, Inc. Grantee dedicated to empowering ballerinas of color in a field where they’re often underrepresented.
Brown Girls Do Ballet is about more than just dance—it’s about breaking barriers in the arts. Through scholarships, mentorship, and training, they help young girls of color overcome financial and cultural obstacles to pursuing ballet professionally. Their photography projects, workshops, and strong community foster confidence and self-expression in these aspiring dancers. ?
This Giving Tuesday, you can help these talented dancers continue their journey. Every donation supports scholarships, dancewear, and travel for performances and competitions. Your gift can make a real difference. ?
Join us in supporting Brown Girls Do Ballet by donating on December 3. Together, we can create a world where every girl feels seen, valued, and empowered to leap toward her dreams. ?
Thank you for being part of this mission!
