11 个月Loved seeing this, George. So many useful insights, including the potential impact of the Gaza conflict I'm also curious whether there has been an analysis of incremental changes in giving throughout the whole of Q4 before & after Giving Tuesday. Has it historically increased giving overall? Or shifted it to a specific day in November? You're right, without a doubt, that it likely inspired more nonprofits to ask on that day - but would they have otherwise done the same thing on a different, quieter, day with the same or similar results. From the earliest days of Giving Tuesday that was a concern of mine - though I've wholly embraced the culture-building components of Giving Tuesday. I'd be eager to see any analysis that you've got access to!

11 个月I always appreciate your articles George. It is getting very noisy in the days leading up to Giving Tuesday. The marketing messages and nonprofit solicitations are all competing for attention. To your point, the nonprofits I have worked with are now opting for days that are relevant to their causes and communities.
