Giving something back

I make no apologies with this post not being about business, it's about giving something back. They are words i heard Lady Michelle Mone say at a conference, and something i want to deliver on.

In October 2015 I agreed to run a half marathon for charity so i have trained this last year to make sure i can deliver my word.

The charity is Callum Pite's Smile Charity, which raises money to support teenagers with cancer.

This is a charity very close to my heart, Callum was my godson. He was an incredibly brave young man but sadly lost his fight with cancer at the age of 14 on New Years Day 2013. During his time in hospital Callum received great support from various charities and organisations. Having seen how this lifted those people, it only seemed fitting to give something back and the charity was set up after he passed away.
