Happy Holidays! I hope you have had a wonderful holidays with family and friends! I can't believe the calendar is going to turn to 2023 in a few days! As we wrap up 2022, I wanted to pause and write about giving and gratitude, and a few updates.
Giving
Looking back on 2022, we are thankful for the many organizations that support our industry, inspire people to choose insurance as a career, and give back to our communities. I love this picture of the amazing Whitnee Dillard at the Emerging Leaders Conference as I think the picture captures her passion for our industry and the people in it! We have such wonderful partners in insurance and your financial contributions help power their outstanding work. Please consider supporting the following organizations with your end-of-year giving. 2023 8th Annual February Insurance Careers Month
We look forward to an exciting, global 8th Annual February Insurance Careers Month! We hope you and your company join the robust conversations on social media, host talent events, and participate in #ICM2023 activities. The 2023 February Insurance Careers Month Social Media Calendar provides weekly themes and daily content ideas. The 2023 February Insurance Careers Month content guide and resources will be available in January on the Insurance Careers Month website. In February, we will be sharing short CEO and executive videos that highlight why right now is an exciting and stable time to work in the insurance industry. We invite you to work with your CEO and executives to create a video to showcase during February Insurance Careers Month as well.

Gratitude
I am filled with gratitude for our purpose driven, innovative industry and the incredible people that work in insurance. As we mark the end of 2022 and get ready to turn the page to 2023, I am thankful for all of the passionate, creative, and driven people that I have the opportunity to meet, collaborate with, and work with in insurance. I'm inspired by the powerful work of Al Crook and how he is expanding career opportunities through apprenticeships and challenging us to rethink how we attract more people to insurance. I'm in awe and appreciative of the continued leadership and action driven work of Susan Johnson and Dr. Leroy D. Nunery II, NACD.DC to create results on diversity, equity, and inclusion. I'm thankful for the great leadership of Bill Ross to adapt and expand the work of IICF with disasters, DEI and a global membership. I'm grateful for Jessica Hanna and her extensive collaboration and support of new initiatives. I deeply appreciative of Tamra Johnson, CDP for her willingness to jump into any project and her high attention to detail! To all of the exceptional Emerging Leaders - wow, you all are sensational and we are so grateful for your innovation, compassion, dedication and leadership! We cannot wait to see what is ahead for all of you!
I could write for days about so many incredible people in our industry and how you are making a big impact in your companies, in your communities, and in our industry. Know that I see you, I appreciate you, and I'm so very grateful that our paths have crossed. I look forward to collaborating with you all in 2023!
