Giving Back – Shining a Light on ZB Volunteering in 2023
Zimmer Biomet team members continued to make a positive impact in local communities across our region, bringing our Guiding Principle of Giving Back to life throughout 2023.
Team members across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa hosted fundraisers, collection drives, clean-up days and so much more to uplift and give back – here are just a few examples of how ZB people made a difference this year...
Making a Difference in Poland
One day each month, team members in Poland prepare sandwiches at the office for people in need. This monthly initiative has continued for two years, with over 10,000 sandwiches made to date.
The team also donated pre-loved clothes and accessories to raise funds for the Polish Humanitarian Action and made a significant environmental impact by planting more than 180 trees along the bank of the Vistula River.

Cheers to all of our volunteers! I'd like to give a special thank you to an important group of people: we have an initiative in the region where team members volunteer to be ZB Community Engagement Champions. In this role, they seek out and help implement activities - so I want to thank all of our Champions for making so many of these activities possible, and to Alessandra Galli for leading this initiative
Together, we continue to shine a bright light on the power of community and compassion, making the world a better place for all.
Cheers,
Wilfred.

1 年Congratulations because this actins really impact our teams and the communities! It’s a pity that not many companies have a steady cooperation program!. I remember with covid back in 2019, in the company I was in at that time, we’ve developed a plan engaging our customers to support local food banks and it was a success… The world needs good and positive things, congratulations Zimmer teams ??????
