Giving Back

Dear Skarlett Boutique is no stranger to giving back within it's own community. Last November, we reached out to the Ronald Mcdonald house in Edmonton, Alberta with an idea of donating a $100 shopping spree to each of the moms in the house. The house has up to 35 families staying in it at anytime. The idea quickly came to life, after I met with Christie Peters (Program Coordinator). I was given a tour of the house which quickly made me feel like this was the place I wanted to GIVE Back.

We brought 3 rolling racks of clothing, and set up from 3-8 that day, and let the moms come shop in-between hospital visits at their convenience.It was a real eye opener to how fragile life and our health can be. The Ronald MacDonald House truly feels as much like a home as it can. So many wonderful volunteers in our City Contribute to that... Dear Skarlett Boutique plans to make this an annual event. "Putting smiles on women's faces is what we are all about"
