Giving Back

One of the many reasons I love working at Insight is because we get the opportunity to showcase our core value of heart each and every day. Insight’s values are not just something on a piece paper, but a part of who we truly are. One of our HR team members recently shared this quote with me, “If your actions don’t live up to your words, you have nothing to say.” Well, at Insight, we have a lot to say!

One example of the focus we have on heart is our work with United Way organizations around the nation. This is one program of many that we run through our community-involvement program Reach. Through Reach, we’ve built strong working relationships with various charities, in order to truly make an impact in the communities that our Insight teammates live and work in. As we close this year’s United Way campaign, we are expecting to raise more than $150,000 for a myriad of United Way organizations.

It is a privilege to work at an organization that showcases Heart as a core value. It is also a responsibility. My hope for us all is that somewhere in our busy lives, whether at work or in life, we find ways to give back to the communities that give us our livelihoods.
