More to Give

Decided to adopt-a-school, a great idea from our CEO. A Title 1 school in Southern Nevada was gracious enough to donate their time and effort into writing letters to Santa which made us all cry. The things children want are so trivial compared to the things we take for granted. Wanting the fights to stop between parents, a new game or their first doll, these letters while raising over $1400 for our non-profit, also raised awareness for the kiddo in us all. We decided to gather donations and goods from our staff to deliver to this under-resourced elementary school so that they wouldn't have to worry about their lack at home and focus on what they can get from school. A little more than education, they can now get a little self-care after the holidays. Giving has been proven to make us feel better and have a profound effect on our daily lives. Happy that my team at Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada saw the need and made it happen. May this set the tone for giving in 2023.
